Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) ja Green Key ovat ylpeästi mukana Running Out Of Time -kampanjassa, joka on maailman suurin viesti ilmaston puolesta!
The World Relay Ltd:n järjestämä Running Out of Time on 7 767 kilometrin mittainen viesti Skotlannista (COP26-ilmastokokouksen järjestäjämaa) Egyptiin (COP27-ilmastokokouksen järjestäjämaa). Viesti kulkee 38 päivää, 18 maan läpi ja sen tavoitteena on lisätä tietoisuutta ilmastotoimista. Viestikapula sisältää tärkeän ilmastoviestin nuorilta COP27-ilmastokokouksen päättäjille. Reitin varrella viestikapula ylittää meret, vuoristot, jäätiköt ja aavikot, vierailee kouluissa, riskialttiissa paikoissa ja ilmastonmuutosprojekteissa tapaamassa tiedemiehiä, insinöörejä ja yhteisön johtajia vihreän vallankumouksen eturintamassa sekä innostaakseen paikallisia ilmastotoimiin.
Egyptissä jopa miljoona oppilasta eri puolilta maailmaa kokoontuu 3. marraskuuta Maailman koulupäivään.
Yhteistyöhankkeen tuotolla tuetaan hyväntekeväisyysjärjestö Carbon Copya ja Foundation for Environmental Educationin Global Forest Fund -rahastoa.
Kaikki – missä päin maailmaa tahansa – kutsutaan mukaan Running Out of Time – Global Stage -tapahtumaan puolustamaan ilmastotoimia ja välittämään viestin maailman johtajille COP 27 -ilmastokokouksessa! Osallistu juoksemalla, kävelemällä tai pyöräilemällä 27 minuuttia 5.11. klo 10.00 paikallista aikaa – yksin, ystävien tai perheen kanssa – ja julkaise kuva hashtagilla #RunningOutofTime.

Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) and Green Key are proudly partnering with Running Out Of Time, the world’s biggest climate change relay!
Running Out of Time, organised by The World Relay Ltd, is a 7,767km non-stop relay from Glasgow, Scotland (Host of COP26) to Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt (Host of COP27). The relay runs for 38 days, travels to 18 countries and has the goal to raise awareness of climate actions. Within the relay baton is a climate change message from young people to the decision makers at COP27. Along the extraordinary route, the baton will cross seas, mountain ranges, glaciers, and deserts and visit schools, at-risk locations and climate change projects meeting scientists, engineers and community leaders at the forefront of the green revolution to better understand what is happening to our planet and to inspire local climate action.
Once in Egypt up to a million pupils from around the world will be brought together on November 3rd for a Global Schools Day.
Proceeds raised from the collaborative initiative will support charities Carbon Copy and the Foundation for Environmental Education’s Global Forest Fund.
