Tässä webinaarissa käydään läpi toimia, joilla matkailuyritykset voivat tukea maailmanlaajuista luonnon monimuotoisuutta.
Matkailuyritykset voivat tehdä päivittäin valintoja ja toimia, jotka tukevat luonnon monimuotoisuuden suojelua. Toimia voidaan kohdistaa sekä paikalliseen luontoon että kauemmas, haavoittuville alueille.
Puhujat:
Andy Benson (Bumblebee Conservation Trustin vanhempi koulutusvirkailija) esittelee toimia pölyttäjäystävällisten viheralueiden luomiseksi.
Tatiana Lodder (projektijohtaja, Good Fish Foundation) puhuu luonnon monimuotoisuuden suojelusta ravintolamenun kautta käyttämällä kestävästi pyydettyä kalaa/mereneläviä.

There is a range of initiatives and choices that tourism establishments can take in their daily management that will support the protection of biodiversity. The choices can both be through actions supporting the biodiversity at or near the establishment, and it can also be through actions that support the biodiversity in other and perhaps vulnerable parts of the planet.
The speakers will be:
Andy Benson (Senior Education Officer at Bumblebee Conservation Trust) presenting strategies for creating pollinator-friendly green spaces
Tatiana Lodder (Project Leader, Good Fish Foundation) speaking about how to support the protection of biodiversity through the restaurant menu by using sustainably harvested fish/seafood.
Rosie Teasdale (Executive Director, FSC UK)
The webinar is part of the Green Key Biodiversity Webinar Series running in April and May 2022. The Campaign is part of the Foundation for Environmental Education’s GAIA 20:30 Biodiversity Campaign.
