Kilpisjärvi is one of the most snow-guaranteed places in Finland, with permanent snow covering the lands from November until May. In contract the midnight sun season with 24-hours sunlight from May to August and the brilliance of the autumn colors in September and October are each worth the visit. Kilpisjärvi is one of the best places in whole Europe to see the Aurora Borealis: located up in the mountain ranges: there are plenty of clear nights for you to witness the magical northern lights.
